Audrey Sun is a recent graduate of Phillips Academy Andover and is currently taking a gap year to study music before entering college next fall. This recital is the capstone for her gap year, featuring works she has studied throughout the year. She will perform a range of classical music opening with Beethoven’s Spring Sonata, the Allemande and Corrente from Bach’s Partita No. 2 for Solo Violin in D Minor, and Kreisler’s sunny and soulful La Gitana, followed by the first movement of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, and finally, concluding with an arrangement of Debussy’s song “Beau soir” for violin and piano.
