Before becoming a Realtor in 2003, Richard Wilcox consulted with historic home owners for more than a decade on issues ranging from dating their historic properties to restoration and maintenance and from deed research to preparing a home for marketing. Working on behalf of local historical societies, historical commissions, and other formal organizations, Richard was able to gain an in-depth familiarity with buildings of all ages and designs, from early first-period Colonials to mid-19th century Greek Revivals and from high style Victorians to newly built reproductions. Since 2004, Richard has been working with buyers and sellers of antique, historic, specialty, and custom properties. For the past six years, he has been doing so as the Broker/Owner of his own firm, Distinctly New England, based in Sudbury and serving all of Massachusetts and other New England states. Richard will share his knowledge of and love for antique, historic, and specialty/custom properties.
