Join us for a welcoming evening with Christina Watka, the Maine-based artist whose installations create joyful, dynamic spaces by reflecting the natural interplay between light, density, movement, and people. During her time with us, she will read excerpts from her limited edition artist book of essays and share conversation about many things including the arc of her career, her process based work, noticing light, the idea of artist as a way of being, and how swimming all year in Maine has offered her a unique perspective in the studio.
