Weston AIC: Sewing Fundamentals

Join us at the AIC for this fun and informative introduction to sewing class. We will introduce the fundamentals of machine sewing, garment construction and fitting, shopping for fabric and patterns, and essential sewing tools and equipment. This skills class that will certify you to independently use the AIC lab and machines. You will leave with an extensive packet of information and skills samples for future reference.

Instructor: Carson Eddy is a teacher, designer, author, and textile artisan with 30+ years of experience teaching a range of sewing, jewelry-making, and craft skills. A strong believer in the power of creativity, Carson enjoys sharing her knowledge and teaching people new skills so they can discover their creative potential. Carson received her M.F.A. in Costume Design, from Carnegie Mellon University.
