Join us for this fun and informative fundamental machine sewing class. This class introduces participants to the AIC sewing machines, sewing tools, and equipment available in the AIC maker space. No sewing machine experience is required. Participants learn how to set up the AIC maker space sewing machines, wind the bobbin, thread the machines, and gain sewing experience by making a reversible drawstring bag. Participants go home with an extensive packet of information and skills samples for future reference and a drawstring bag.

**Please do not bring your personal sewing machine to the class.

Upon completion of this class, students will be certified to use the AIC sewing machines independently during the AIC's Open Maker Hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
