Weston AIC: Reading Room Music - Talking Hearts

Thursday, November 77:00—9:00 PMWeston AICWeston Art and Innovation Center356 Boston Post Road, Weston, MA, 02493

Reading Room Music heartily welcomes The Talking Hearts – a cutting edge honky tonk band from Boston. Channeling the spirit of country music icons Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, and Buck Owens, The Talking Hearts play witty and relatable original songs written by fiddler Rachel Rosenberg about folks who’ve done her wrong. The songs feature the thick three-part harmony singing of Rachel, Sophie Wellington (guitar) and Zach Meyer (mandolin), with bassist Dan Bui and pedal steel player Alex Formento laying down a solid rhythmic groove. Pull up your cowboy boots and get ready for a rollickin’ good time!
