Weston AIC: Needle Felted Polar Bears

Using soft unspun sheep’s wool and a felting needle, participants will create a beautiful polar bear to decorate your home for the winter. All materials will be provided.

Instructor: Elizabeth Stubbs is a felt artist living and working in Nahant, Massachusetts. She has a BFA from Boston University School for the Arts in painting, and has spent many years as a fine artist, illustrator, and teacher. She also holds a MEd from Antioch University in Early Childhood with a Waldorf certificate. It was during this teacher training that she was first exposed to the art of felt making and has been making felt for over 20 years. She teaches felt making classes and workshops in the greater Boston area.
