In this 4-session series, participants review the basics of material and media for building surfaces, creating surfaces with "found" materials -- materials found in nature and from reclaimed/recycled everyday items. 

This course has been designed for all levels -- from beginner to more experienced participants. Techniques with each medium and ways to combine them are demonstrated in the first half of each session, and then participants have time to experiment with these techniques as they develop personal projects in the second half of each session. Composition, color, and texture are explored, and experimentation is encouraged!
