Join us for this fun and informative Machine Sewing class and make a Wine Bag to keep or gift this holiday season. This class introduces participants to the AIC sewing machines, sewing tools, and equipment available in the makerspace. An assortment of fabrics will be available to choose from. Participants go home with a packet of information for future use. 

No machine sewing experience is required. 

Class participants learn how to set up and use the AIC makerspace sewing machines by making a wine bag, including how to:

• wind a bobbin
• thread the machine
• practice sewing, and go home with a tote bag and a packet of information for future reference.

Upon completion of this class, students will be certified to use the AIC sewing machines independently during open maker hours.

Sewing Certification projects are new each month, and participants may repeat the class to take part in future projects as desired.

**Please note, this class is the prerequisite for the machine sewing project classes being offered at the Weston AIC.**
