Join us for this fun and informative Machine Sewing class. This class introduces participants to the AIC sewing machines, sewing tools, and equipment available in the maker space.*

No machine sewing experience is required. 

Participants learn how to set up the maker space sewing machines, wind a bobbin, thread the machine, and gain sewing experience by making a reversible drawstring bag; and go home with a drawstring bag and an extensive packet of information for future reference.

*Please do not bring your personal machine to class. 

Upon completion of this class, students will be certified to use the AIC sewing machines independently during open maker hours on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Please note, this class is the prerequisite for the machine sewing project classes being offered at the Weston AIC.
