A fun and informative introduction to the sewing machine and essential sewing tools, as well as information on fabric and how to shop for supplies. Participants leave with an extensive packet of information for future reference -- and a drawstring bag!

**Please note, this class is the prerequisite for the machine sewing project classes being offered this season.**

This informative class is a skills class that will certify you to independently use the AIC lab and machines. The AIC makerspace has cutting tables, sewing machines, irons and ironing boards, rotary cutting mats, rotary cutters, clear rulers, sewing scissors and thread snips for student use.
