This series is designed for beginner to intermediate or those looking to re-ignite their creative skills.

Part 1:
The first four sessions focus on the basics of drawing and observational skills through exercises focusing on line, shape, form and value. Our conversations cover basic drawing supplies. Most of our drawing work focuses on dry media, including but not limited to graphite charcoal and colored pencils.

Part 2:
The second four sessions build on our drawing foundation and move into introductory painting skills. Wet media options include watercolor, gouache and/or acrylic paints. Composition, color value, color mixing demos and experiments allow you to play with paint and build confidence. 

We experiment with realistic an abstract exercises. 

Come with an open mind, be prepared to get messy, experiment and play!
