Race Amity Day: featuring Chief Tom (Algonquin descent) and Afro-Latin drumming

Race Amity Day, observed annually on the second Sunday in June, is an opportunity to celebrate interracial friendship and showcase the power of interracial partnerships to foster lasting and powerful social change.

This year, the Weston Public Library is pleased to co-sponsor Race Amity Day in Weston. Celebrations will be held at the Weston Community Center at 20 Alphabet Lane, Weston, MA 02493.

All are welcome at this free community event. While registration is not required, it is recommended. 

This year's Race Amity Day will feature a presentation on Indigenous peoples by Chief Tom (Algonquin descent) and an exciting Afro-Latin drumming exhibition by Cornell Coley.
