Combining printmaking and painting processes, and through the use of color, symbols and gestural marks, Sharon Ede Glennon creates complex abstract paintings filled with richly painted passages and a keen sense of detail. Non verbal visual ideas are expressed through repeated symbols and abstract imagery. Her intricate creative process includes pouring, glazing, drawing, printing and manipulating mixed media including acrylic and oil paint, oil pastel, graphite, pastel, ink transfers, wax, and gel.

Sharon Ede Glennon received a BA in fine art from Suny Brockport where she studied with Master Printmaker Robert Marx. She continued her studies with Gerry Bergstein and Robert Siegleman at SMFA/Tufts. She has taught classes and workshops in painting, printmaking, decoupage, art history and interior design. Her work is exhibited extensively throughout New York and New England and is included in numerous corporate and private collections.
