Help for Dogs with People Problems: a talk with Ray McSoley

Thursday, September 197:00—8:00 PMCommunity Room Weston Public Library87 School Street, Weston, MA, 02493

Join us for a talk with local dog behavior therapist Ray McSoley. A pioneer (1974) in the then emerging field of dog behavior therapy, Ray McSoley’s creative and innovative techniques have both influenced, and been modeled by, professional dog trainers and behaviorists throughout the country.

Ray will speak about his book A Ray of Hope (forthcoming, September 2024, copies will be available for purchase). This book opens your mind and heart to what Ray calls, simply, "Quiet Firmness," the secret to his seemingly mystical success helping dogs with people problems. Written with empathy, wisdom, understanding and sprinkled with laugh-out-loud humor, the book reads like Ray is sitting with you at your kitchen table talking dogs. Join this highly gifted dog man as he travels the U.S., Canada, England and India, helping some of his more than 24,000 clients' issues through a process of gaining and giving mutual trust and respect, along with a clear leader presence.
