Join local author Pamela Wight and her 11-year-old co-author, Neville Hill, for a fun and informative hour where she will share her publishing tale while also devoting time for Q & A. Pam includes humor and quotes from other writers in describing the circuitous, rather serendipitous journey from writing, to illustration, to publication. Special guests include the publisher (Borgo Publishing) of all three of Pam’s picture books: Birds of Paradise (2017), Molly Finds her Purr (2019) and her newest, Petey Wants Wings (September 2024). Sixth grade co-author Neville will add his thoughts on the fun of writing. All those who are eager to learn about the creative process, and all those who love to read, ages 10 to 100, will enjoy this presentation.
