Yahong Shen has practiced Chinese brush painting as a personal passion for years. Her artwork has appeared in solo and group exhibits in Boston, Wellesley, and Chelmsford, as well as New Hampshire and Maine.

In addition, Yahong has offered Chinese painting courses for many years in Chinese schools, as well as workshops in public libraries in the Boston area.

Traditional Chinese painting has a unique style. Most of the paintings in this exhibit are done free-hand, including both landscapes and flower and bird paintings. Dr. Shen greatly appreciates this opportunity to share her interest in traditional Chinese painting with others.
