About the Brave Space Book Club (BSBC):
We are in a moment when many people wish to read more, learn more, and understand more about each other. The BSBC is an intimate and inclusive forum to discuss fiction and nonfiction books we’re curious about reading—a space to have open and frank conversations about books that broaden our knowledge of Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion (DEAI). BSBC discussions are co-hosted by Titi Ngwenya and Deborah Hunter-Jones; the BSBC reading list is voted in by book clubbers. If you are open to reading this subject matter and exploring how to talk to each other about it in an inclusive environment, please join us!
The BSBC meets once a month via Zoom, usually on Wednesdays, 8-9:30 p.m.
Contact us to be added to the mailing list or for more info at irisllapaix@gmail.com.
Free and open to all.
