"Alive," artwork by Shared Habitat Earth (S.H.E.) in celebration of Earth Day 2024

Monday, April 1—Tuesday, April 30All DayArt GalleryWeston Public Library87 School Street, Weston, MA, 02493

The effects of climate change on our beautiful planet have become increasingly and alarmingly clear. We are seeing dramatic weather events all over the world--with disastrous consequences. Art speaks beyond words. It can help us see--and live up to our humanity, by doing our part. Through their paintings and photographs, the artists in this exhibit celebrate the beauty of nature and dramatize the tension between what humanity has enjoyed for thousands of years and what will be left if we don’t act now. The exhibit includes an educational component and provides also tools for action. A percentage of all sales will go to selected environmental organizations. For more information, visit: www.sharedhabitatearth.org.

This exhibit is in both the gallery and the Community Room.
